SITTING AT WAIPAWA VARIOUS CASES HEARD The monthly sitting of the Waipawa S.M. Court, hold on Thursday, was presided over by Mr A. M. Mowlem, SAT., when the following cases wcro dealt with: —■ Gilbert John. Gair was .incd 10/-, with 12/- costs, for selling a rifle without a permit. 1). Preston, Ltd., wore fined .10/- and 10/- costs for operating a motor lorry which had not been licensed. The inspector stated that it was purely a technical breach. A. separation order was ordered to issue against Lionel Ernest Booth, and he was ordered to pay 15/- a week maintenance to his ■wife and 7/6 a week for each of four children, to be paid weekly. Solicitor’s fee, £2 2/-. Judgment was given against D. IT. Shcerin for £23 6/8 and costs £3 6/6, for arrears of rent, and an order was made for possession to be given wdthin a month.
