KING’S PRIZE
At National Meeting ON TRENTHAM RANGE RFM. BOWES WINS A MATCH (Per Press Association) TRENTHAM, This Day. Little fault could be found with the conditions exeprienced for firing off the championship matches for the King's Prize at Trentham this morning. The Auckland Match (ten rounds at 800 and 900 yards) was won by Rflm. F. Bowes (Auckland) with a score of 98. Rflm. Bowes and B. B. Jones (Nelson) registered only two possibles at 900 yards. There were 9 possibles at 800 yards.
