SACRED CONCERT
BY THE TOWN BAND M UNICT PAL TH EATR E, SUNDAY The public of Waipukurau and district is to be afforded the opportunity of attending a first-class sacred concert in the Municipal Theatre, on Sunday night; commencing at 8.15 o’clock, when, under the auspices of the Waipukurau Town Band. a. popular programme will be provided. Included in the varied entertainment will be the test selection ‘' Knight Errant.” as played by the Band in gaining second place at the Napier contest, while the following well-known local artists are to participate: Miss L. .Tones, Messrs .1. Boyce, E. Haldane f vocalists), F. V. Ward (monolpgist), <T. Russell (cornet soloist), with Mrs P. V. Ward as pianist. A silver coin collection is to he taken up in aid of the funds of the Band, which fully merits and stands in much need of a liberal measure of assistance.
