Von Gronau, the German aviator, has arrived here on route to Cordova, Alaska, to make a trans-Pacific flight to Japan via the Aleutian Islands, as part of a world flight. After flying westward across the Atlantic and Canada from Germany, he flew to Juneau from Prince Rupert, British Columbia. The flight direct to Cordova was halted by bad weather. He has arranged to go to Cordova in 24 hours.
