PLAY NAPIER-HASTINGS A match in which widespread interest is centred will be played in Waipawa on Saturday between the Central Hawke’s Bay and East Coast representatives and the Napier-Hast-
ings team. The. fixture is to commence at 3 p.m., but will be preceded by a curtain-raiser fixture, Probable v. Possible junior representatives. The latter will be played at 1.30 p.m. Charges for admission have been fixed as follow: —Ladies, 6d, and gentlemen 1. For the grandstand the charge is 6d. HASTINGS SUB-UNION The Hastings Registered Unem ployed Association wrote asking the Hastings Sub-Union, which met last night, to supply free passes to the weekly football matches. It was agreed that 25 free passes be granted each week.
Advice was received from the H.B. Rugby Union that a seven-a-side tournament was being held in Waipukurau on July 16, and it was hoped that as many teams from Hastings as possible would go through.
