GLORIA SWANSON IN “INDISCREET’’

TO-MORROW AND WEDNESDAY Gloria Swanson lias shown brilliancy and consistency ever since she captured the highest honours one could win in a motion picture career. “Indiscreet, ’ ’ which is the title of her latest picture for United Artists which comes to the Waipukurau Theatre tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday evenings is said to be another triumph 1 for this great star and brings to mind her earlier success, “The Trepasser” having a central cliaracter who risks her own happiness to save another. The story was especially written for the star by de Sylva, Brown and Henderson, the famous picture producers and composers who, with this production, piake their bow in the dramatic field. The two numbers written especially by them for Miss Swanson '■* Come to Me ’ ’ and “If you Haven’t Got' Love,” permit the star to demonstrate once again, that she has one of the most, engaging voices. This production" is recommended more especially for adult audiences. . -- ■ • Saturday and Monday next. —Ramon Novarro, in “Son of India.”
