CANADA-NEW ZEALAND
OPERATION ON TUESDAY (Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Hon. W. D. Stewart, Minister of Customs, announced today that he has now received advice from the Canadian Government that they are prepared to bring the trade agreement into force on Tuesday, 24th inst. The Canadian authorities have been advised that this date will suit . New Zealand and the necessary Order-in-Council and proclamation will be dealt with by the Executive on Monday.
