.g, THE YANKEE AT KING ARTHUR’S COURT TO-MORROW AT 2.30 AND 8. “The Yankee at King Arthur’s Court.” Here’s the picture you’ve been waiting for —a travesty on Mark Twain’s famous story that unlocks the floodgates of laughter and affords the finest comedy moments in Will Rogers’ career. Mark Twain might have written this farce with the screen comedian in mind, so perfectly does he express the role. Rogers starts out as a small town radio dealer. He delivers a battery to a mysterious mansion on the hill one stormy night. The owner of the house hopes to tune his huge radio set in on sound waves which have been batting around in the ether since the beginning of time. He tunes in on what appears to be King Arthur’s Court. There is a terrific flash of lightning, and Rogers wakes up in the sixth century, right in the middle of the Round Table. This production will be shown at the

Waipukurau Theatre to-morrow (Saturday). There will be a special matinee at 2.30. There will be a good supporting programme including “Mickey tho Alouse.” TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY Gloria Swanson star of “The Trespasser” will be seen in her next big picture, “Indiscreet,” next Tuesday and Wednesday.
