DISTURBANCE SEQUEL
OFFENDERS DEALT WITH IN WELLINGTON, SAI. COURT (Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. In connection with the recent disturbances in the city, Ernest W alter Dudley (32), plumber, for inciting to lawlessness was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence if called upon within 12 months, conditional on entering into a bond oj. £5O to be of good behaviour.
George Alexander Robert Irving (32) similarly charged, was sentenced to three months imprisonment. His offence was committed at Parliament gates.
Fred Alex. Corby (28), seaman, for obstructing a constable was fined £3, in default seven days’ imprisonment. The scuffle involved had nothing to do with the distrubance, but occurred while the disturbance was on and was said by the police to be dangerous in the circumstances.
