MUNICIPAL THEATRE
THE YANKEE AT KING ARTHUR’S COURT SATURDAY AT 2.30 AND 8 “The Yankee at King Arthur’s Court.” Here’s tho picture you’ve been Waiting for—a travesty on Alark Twain’s famous story that unlocks the floodgates of laughter and affords the finest comedy moments in AVill Rogers’ career. Alark Twain might have written this farce with tho screen comedian in mind, so perfectly does he express the role. Rorcgs starts out as a small town radio dealer. He delivers a battery to a mysterious mansion on the hill one stormy night. The owner of the house hopes to tune his huge radio set in on sound waves which have been batting around in the ether since the beginning of time. He tunes in on what appears to be King Arthur’s Court. There is a terrific flash of lightning, and Rogers wakes up in the sixth century, right in the middle of tho Round Table. This production will be shown at the Waipukurau Theatre on Saturday. There will be a special matinee at 2.30. TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY Gloria Swanson star of “The Trespasser” will be seen in her next big picture. “Indiscreet.” next Tuesday and AVednesdav.
