BLUFF THEFT
„ _____. FROM BOROUGH COUNCIL MARRIED MAN SENTENCED (Per Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Wednesday. A plea of guilty to charges of stealing from the Bluff Borough Council the sum of £lB2 17s sd, was entered by Thomas James, a married man, aged 30, in the Police Court this morning. He was committeed for sentence to the Supreme Court, where he. appeared this afternoon. A sentence of one year’s imprisonment, with hard labour was imposed.
