LONDON WOOL SALES 125,000 BALES OFFERING LONDON, May 17. For the wool sales on May 24 there are available 184,500 bales, including new Australian arrivals 19,500 and New Zealand 40,000. It is expected that about 125,000 will be catalogued. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., have received the following advices concerning the London wool sales: — The list of arrivals closed on the 17th instant for the fourth series, due to commence on the 24th. idem. Quantity available: Australian 19,500 bales New Zealand, 40,000; Cape 5,500; South American, 22,500; Carry forward 97,000. Brokers expect to offer 125,000 bales, including: 39,150 bales Australian, 55,550 New Zealand, 7,300 Capo, 23,000 South American. Sales close on the Sth proximo. The following Vessels have arrived in time for the sales: Westmoreland, Mahia, Itira, Coptic, Zcalandic, Tamaroa. Port Brisbane, Taranaki, and Anglo-Canadin. FRUIT AND VEGETABLES WELLINGTON PRICES Messrs Laory and Co., Ltd., Geo.
