ART AND LITERARY CIRCLE (From Oui' Own Correspondent.) The fortnightly meeting of the Art and Literary Circle of the W.E.A., was held at the residence of Mr R. H. Tod on Tuesday night, there being present a good attendance. A paper on the subject of “Music, and Song Writing” was read by the Rev. R. Hall and the music was provided by Mr Tod on his gramaphonc. Basketball Dance
To-night (Wednesday) the Basketball Club holds it annual dance, when it is hoped that there will bo a good attendance. Bridge tables will he provided for non-danccrs. Flock House Scheme
On Thursday night a meeting of Returned Soldiers and all interested in the development of the Flock House scheme will be held in the library to evolve a method of providing the district’s quota towards sending a local boy to Flock House. It is hoped that the selected boy will be in residence by the end of this month.
