Quinnat Salmon Plentiful

The exceptional run of quinnat salmon of 401 b and over in -weight in the Canterbury rivers this year wa' commented on by Mr A. E. Hefford, chief inspector of fisheries. The fish this year, he said, were unusually free from the scars made by attacks of predacious fish. In some yearr many of the salmon showed thes< marks and they were ope of the mysteries of the sea.
