TRAMWAY STRIKE
Men Still Out TRIBUNAL’S TERMS DISLIKED .MODIFICATION WANTED (Per Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. So far the Tramway Union have not agreed to return to work and still ask for the modification of the tribunal’s terms. Tho chairman of the Tramways Board stales that the Board is unlikely to consider the union's counter proposals which involve rationing on a large scale and tho virtual reinstatement of all strikers.
