MOTOR CYCLE FATALITY
ELDERLY' MAN KILLED
WAS KNOCKED DOWN

CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday.
Samuel Henry Griffiths, a married man aged 69, of Waikuku, died in hospital this morning as the. result of injuries received when he was knocked down by a motor cycle at Waikuku on Saturday evening. Griffiths was leading a horse along the road when the accident occurred. The rider of the cycle, Gilbert Treloar, of Amberley, was also admitted to the hospital suffering from head injuries.
