ROTARY CONFERENCE
EMPLOYMENT OF BOYS THE NEW GOVERNOR (Per Press Association! DUNEDIN, Last Night. The Rotary Conference concluded today. A resolution was passed expressing appreciation of the presence of Mr S. Pascal!, president of the Rotary International, at the conference. A discussion took place on the employment of boys, and members were recpiested to do all that lay in their power to help the many boys in tho Dominion who at present find it difficult to obtain work. The hope was expressed that the age limit in trades would be extended. Mr W. Thomas (Timaru) read a paper on “How Our Work Will be. Viewed in the Future” Mr H. Valdcr (Hamilton) was nominated as district governor for the. ensuing year. At the afternoon session Mr F. Milner (Oamaru) gave an address cn “Responsibilities of Rotarians.” An invitation from Palmerston Nort.b to hold the next conference there was referred to tho district executive.
