MONTHLY SHIPMENTS TO UNITED KINGDOM The New Zealand Meat producers’ Board is advised by cable from its London Office that the shipments from Australia and South America to the United Kingdom during the month of April Wore as follows: —■ AUSTRALIA Carcases mutton 85,047 Carcases lamb 130,435 Quarters beef 43,460 SOUTH AMERICA Carcases mutton 220,212 Carcases lamb 561,358 Quarters beef (frozen) 3,888 Quarters beef (chilled) 392,413 Included in the South American fig ures are 381.183 carcases of lamb and 186,758 carcases of mutton shipped from Patagonia. The shipments from New Zealand to the United Kingdom for the same period were as follows: — NEW ZEALAND Carcases mutton 330,480 Careases lamb 1,242,690 Quarters beef 9.341 The shipments from South America to the .Continent of Europe during rhe same period were as follows:Mutton 189 bms. Frozen beef 2,771 torrs
