NEW ZEALANDERS SUCCESSFUL Australian and N.Z. Press Association, LONDON, August 18. At the Tailteann sports in Dublin Miss Stockley (New Zealand) won her heat in the women’s 100 metres free style swim in 77 seconds, beating Miss Bonnie Mealing' (Australia. Miss Edna Davey (Australia) was third in her heat and qualified for 1 the final. In the 800 metres free style Lindsay (New Zealand) was second to Ault (Canada). Timo: 11.29 2-5. Moorhouse (New Zealand) won his heat in the 100 metres backstroke in 83 4-5 seconds ' In the 200 metres free style, Misses Millar (New Zealand), 2.57 4-5, and Davey (Australia), 2.56 4-5,, won their heats. In the mein’s 200 metres free’ style Lindsay was third in his heat and qualified for the final.
