WILD SCENES AT CAMBRIDGE.
LONDON, November 6.
Guy Faw'kes Day w r as marked by the wildest ragging in Cambridge. Late at night the under-graduates started an impromptu firew'orks display in the market-place. They extinguished the street lamps, and threw bags of flour on the townspeople, who divided, some siding with the naggers. The result was that the disorderly scones w’erc only quelled when the police drew’ their truncheons. Fifty arrests were made.
