MILITARY TRAINING OBJECTED TO
WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The principle of military Gaining was denounced by speakers at last night’s meeting of the Wellington Presbytery us tending fui thcr towards warfare, being inimical to the moral uplifting of the youth of the country. A motion fully setting out the reasons for oobjecting to the Government’s military proposal was discussed at some length and the discussion was then ad jjouincd to next meeting.
