DANNEVIKKK. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their weekly sale held iu Millar’s road yards on Friday, 7th May as follows; — We yarded a fair entry of sheep and cattle but competition among the small number of buyers present was anything but spirited. We disposed of practically the whole of our offering however, at the following prices ; —Sheep.—Empty ewes to Ss, ewes in lamb to I'j:s 6d, store lambs 8s 3d ;—Cattle. —Fat cows £4 17s 6d, £0 10s to £G 15s. Williams and Kettle, Ltd., report having held their usual stock sale in the Pannevirkeyards on the 10th inst., when they offered a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle to a small attendance of those interested. They have to report a very dull sale throughout. Quotations : 4-4 fat ewes 20s, 34 fat ewes (light) 17s (id, 512 4 and 6th wethers 17s 6d, 8 fat ewes and wethers 24s 9d. A wether kindly presented to the Belgian Relief Fund by J. D. Galloway of Maharahara realized £2 10s, and a horse donated by the same gentleman realised £5 10s. WOOD VIM.E. Williams and Kettle, Ltd., report having held their usual fortnightly sale in the Woodville yards on the 10th inst., when they offered a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle, which realised the following prices ; Shorn lambs (good) 10s Id, cull lambs 6s to 7sld, cull ewes Gs, fat heifers £6 12s 6d, fat bullocks £9, fat ewes £5 to £6 10s, store cows 25s to £2, m.s. weaners 20s.
