Messrs West and Sons were also present in connection with the plans for the new buildings. It was decided to call for separate tenders for the stewards’ stand, public stand and the tea kiosk. In the matter of the totalisator it was agreed that a new building was necessary, and to have a circular one similar to that used by the Metropolitan Club, Christchurch. Rijtthe offer to lease from the totalisator proprietors, it was agreed to ask them to meet the Club. ■. The meeting was a lengthy one but the stewards are giving th;. Club’s interest careful consideration and that uf the public more so. I
