The elections now in lull swing in Great Britain, and by the end of the week we shall know which of the two great parties in the United Kingdom has secured a victory, or whether either has managed to do so. While each side has professed confidence as to the result, that has only been part of the game, and nothing definite can be said as yet. Still, we do not believe that the Old Country is going under to the red flag of Socialism yet, and we wouid be sorry to ase it do so. Nor has any sign been giye» £>f it so far.
