To-morrow night the Taylor-Car-rington Company once more appear at the Alexandra Hall, Woodville* This time a very popular American drama of the sensational order, entitled “ Under Gaslight,” will be staged. That the scenery and effects are something out. of the common may be gauged from the fact that in one scene, an express train crosses tbe stage at fall speed, with all the customary noise, glaring bead lights, and showers of sparks from the engine. The . traffio man* ager, Mr O. M. Keegan, .successbiuv ran this railway train down-the Wert Coast and back, and is now piloting this remarkable piece . of stage mechanism through Hawke’s Bay* Mr Charlie Taylor will be seen in an entirely new type of character, thit of (< Byke ” tbe burglar. He will be supported by Miss Carrington in another of her artistic characterisations, so Woodville playgoers may anticipate an enjoyable evening at the performahce of “Under Gaslight.”
