A TRIBUTE TO STOESSEL. Tokio, May 25, Owing to the report that & courtmartial had sentenced General Bioessel to death for cowardice, General Nogi was interviewed at Tokio. He declared that Stoeesel did everything possible to defend Pori Arthur, especially since be lacked the whole hearted loyal cooperation of all his officers and men.
