THE LIBEBALS DISCONCERTED. ANOTHER ELECTION POSSIBLE. London, May 26. The Liberal Government is disconcerted over the cleavage in its majority and owing to the Laborites* attitude towards various questions. The debate on the secular Education Bill has weakened the Government’s position in relation to the Bill. The Daily Telegraph declares the Government is less enamoured of the Bill than at the outset. Mr Lloyd-George, speaking at Liverpool, urged the Liberals to prepare for the possibility of another election over the Education Bill.
