There was a record gathering of Home, Continental, and colonial buyers, and the bidding was been throughout. Prices were on a par with last sabs, out some of our medium wools showed a slight advance. STOCK SALES. Mr W. Eose reports as follows On December 18th, at WoodyuK, 1 had a strail yarding of cattle, but _ all were sold under the hammer at prices rather in favour of buyers. January 6th, Dannovirko horse s ; .le.— I bad an entry of 100 horses, but bidding was at no time of the sale spirited, ihe prices obtained were Heavy dra "S hta £3O to £4l 10s, spring carters £2B to £3O, unbroken colts and hdies (light draughts) £“2O to £2B. harness horses £lO to £25, and hacks £a to £l&. January Btb, at Ormondville stock sale, there was a small entry, small attendance, and business was dull. January 12th, Dannovirko stock Ba le—There was a big yarding ot both sheep and cattle. Although every line was not sold under the hammer, practically every line was cleared after the Sale. I quote as follows Sheep : Ewes 13s 6d, woolly lambs 9s 2d, shorn lambs Gs, ewes and lambs IGs.
