The Bowlins Tournament promotfd by the Nonh Island Bowling Association was continued and bio„ght to a conclusion on Saturday in capital weither. The order of play was, Souh'and <•. Victoria in the liu 1 for the Clifiinpionship ; Gisborne v. Newtown, in the semifinal for the Shield and Banner; and Victoria against the winners of the latter game for the final. The result of the play was that Southland won from Victoria and thus carried off the Championship; Newtown bent Gisborne, and then beat Victoria, winning the Association's Banner and Shield for 1900, and taking second place in the Championship.
