TAYLOR-CARRINGTON CO. After a most successful and prosperous tour in the South Island, the above favourite combination is returning to' the north, and will play iuWoodville on Tuesday evening. The management have a treat in store for the Woodville playgoers this time, for it is their intention to stage a most beautiful and romantic play entitled “ The Gipsy Queen,” written by tho celebi ated London authors, [Messrs George Comer and Lionel Ellis, from whom Mr Taylor has pun based ihe sole rights of production in Australia and New Zealand. Tho piece is illustrated by some beautiful stage pictures from tho brushes of Messrs Little and Matthews, and contains some churmingviewa of rural England, notably ‘yDorer Gastlo and Cliffs," " The Gipsy Encampment by night,” “ A Country Lane,” &c.
