It waa decided to expend £2 2s in purchasing some token of esteem to be presented to Mr Clarke for his many services to the institution, Mr Clarke declining to accept a bonus. Mr Manisty then moved, “ That the Woodville Library and AtbeLtoum be uow wound up ” In speaking to the motion he said be considered it was in the best interests of the institution that the Borough Council should have coutrol of it. The motion was seconded by Mr Stevenson, and carried. A formal resolution was then passed handing over the assets of the Woodville Public Library to the Borough Council. Messrs Whittington, Stevenson, and Clarke were appointed to represent the subscribers on the Management Committee of the LibraryMessrs Manisty and Clarke were appointed to carryout the necessary formalities in connection with the dissolution of the institution.
