The half-ton cheese which will form one of the principal attractions at the forthcoming Winter Show at Palmerston is expected to arrive shortly. This mammoth cheese has been manufactured at the Edendale Dairy Factory by Mr. James Sawyers, one of the leading cheese makers of the colony. It contains £lO worth of coins ranging from half sovereigns to threepenny pieces, and slices of it will be sold during the Show at one shilling a piece. The society should have no difficulty in effecting a quittance of the entire cheese.
