RAILWAY CONCESSIONS FOR RUSSIA. Pekin, June 27. With the approval of Chang Chilling, the Viceroy o! Lianghu, and Suanshikai, Viceroy of Chili. Russia, through an agent named Pollax. obtained a concession for building the Hankau-Chengtu and Hankau-Fncban railways. The edict confirming the concessions is awaited. * June 29. A Corean officer, reaching Yalu, reports that 150 Russian soldiers crossed the river, and are 'quartered at two localities.
