(From Our Own Correspondent) A special meeting was held on Wednesday evening. Present: Crs J. Vile (chair), D. Crewe, A. Yule, J. Pinfold, G. Whit combe. The following tenders were accepted for the Mangahao road contracts No 115. Larson £1 7s 6d per chain, culverts 2s 9d. No 117. Larsen £1 5s 63 per chain, culverts 3s ltd, 2s Od, 2s. No 118. Cornelius 18s per chain, culverts 2b.
No 118. 'Williams Bros. £1 16s per chain, drains 2s Gd, 4s, bridge 4s, extra drain 15s.
It was resolved to invite tenders for Main Street contract.
