DANEVIRKE TOWN BOARD.

(From our own correspondent.) An ordinary meeting of the Board was held on Monday. Present: Messrs Younghusband (chairman), Carlson, V. Pasmussen, AVralt, and Bale. TENDERS. Tenders were received from H. P. .Tonsen, metalling at the Maunga-atiia Station, AlO, accepted on the motion of Messrs Carlson and Bak. Tenders for stumping and clearing Alexander-street were opened as follows ; _F. W. Butler, A 9 2s Gd ;P. Hemingson, A 9 18s ; Edward Williamson, AlO ls4d ; H. P. Jensen, All 12s ; John Keen, Al 9 18s; Hood & Walker, F2olos. F. W. Butler’s tender was accepted on the motion of Messrs Y. Rasmussen and J. Bak. i , Tenders were received from Hood and Walker for foothpaths, 24 chains 21 links, A 79 10s, From T. McCarthy, Butler & Co. footpath 14 chains HI links, AB2 12. From same, for 16 chains only, £53 11s. Resolved on the motion of Messrs Wratt and Rasmussen, That the tenders for foothpaths be handed over to the new Board, with a recommendation that the tender of Messrs Hood and Walker be accepted. ACCOUNTS. The following accounts were passed for payment: Ronburg & Clausen, stationery, &c., 13s; stamps, 10s 8d; total A 1 3s Bd. The meeting then adjourned.
