Besolved on the motion of Messrs Carlson and Pasmussen, That tenders bo called for stumping and clearing Alex-andcr-Strect. 22 chains, 42fc wide. Resolved, That tenders dose and he opened at meeting to be held on the loth September, 1880, at 8 p.m. The meeting then adjourned. HOAD BOARD.

Uesolved on the motion of Messrs McKay iiiul Shanley, That tenders be called 1o be opened at next meeting for the formation and metalling in the Danevirke and "Waipawa Special Settlements Umuturoa Block (return thirds), also, that separate tenders be invited for the ■metaling of appioacii road to same, commencing at the Maunga-atua Station, and that Mr Gilmniir (county overseer) be asked to prepare specifications for same. i,V return thirds due on Hamlet and Christian-street, it was resolved, That Mr Gilmour be asked to prepare specifications as per the instructions sent from the Commissioner, and that tenders be invited for same to be opened at next rueetimr.

.Resolved. That Mr Gihnour bo asked to inspect the road between sections 14 and 1.1, Danevirke Special Settlement, with the view of making some temporary arrangements to make it open for traffic, and to report at next meeting. Correspondence from the Minister of Lauds rc Trustees to Danevirke Cemetery, and asking if the board will undertake the delegation of power to appoint trustees.
