We quote 63 Gd to 6s Bd. s -Under the hammer a few small parcels were cleared off at 6s 4d fco 6s 75. Oats are wanted, bufc only common and inferior descriptions are got rid of; publicly a few lots were disposed of afc 4s 8d fco 6s. Maize is unsettled ; we quote from 5s Id to 5s 2d, bufc in the absence of supplies fche quotation is in a measure nominal. For sugars a better inquiry has been experienced, and we hear of about 1000 bags having been taken up for trade* purposes at from £36 los to £38 for yellows to good counters, while £38 to £39 was obtained for brewing crystals. Whites, however, are very much in request, and at a slight concession on the part of holders, a good

business might be done. Somo 3000 bags and mats sound sugar, and 700 bags damaged, will be sold to-morrow forenoon. Teas are attracting notice, though little bas yet been made public in the way of sales ; medium to fine congous have been quitted at la 8d to Is lOd. A pioneer shipment of new, season's teas has just come forward to the consignment of Messrs E. Cohen and Co by the mail steamer Ohiua. The parcel consists of 627 quarter-chests very choice congous, and 339 boxes scented orange pekoe* ; and wo observe fchat tha entire quantity will be submitted to publio competition to-morrow afternoon.
