New York, October 11. Our European advicea via Cable are dated to-day. The Garibaldi invaders of tbo papal territory were again engaged with the Pontifical troops, and, it is said, defeated. The revolutionists assert that a rising will soon take place in Home in favor of the " Party of Action." Minotti Garibaldi, son of the General, and his successor in the command of the revolutionary force operating against Rome, has been arrested by the Italian authorities. In the very important state elections which have just taken place, tho republicans have carried Ohio by a very small majority, and lowa by a very large one ; but they have lost Pennsylvania.
