VALUABLE FREEHOLD PROPERTIES IN THE C.TV OF WELLINGTON, FOR SALE BT AUCTION. FRIDAY, 28th NOVEMBER, 1862 MESSES. WILLIAM HICKSON, & Co., will sell by Public Auction, at their Stores, Te Aro, on Friday, the 28th November next, the undermentioned valuable Preehold Fropeities, situated iv the centre of the businees portion of the City of Wellington ; and adjacent to the Banks, Custom House, and Post Office, First— The piece ot Land in the rear of the Ship Hotel, in Manners-street ; having a cart road entrance from that Street; and also from Willisstreet, adjoining Mr. Port's grocery establishment. There is a strongly built Store, two stories high on the Land capable of holding 500 tons of goods ; also, an Office and Shed. The whole is enclosed by a strong close fence, ten feet high. This property was recently occupied by H. M» Government as a Commissariat Store: Second— The piece of Land fronting to Willis street, extending from the premises lately occupied as Ordnance and Engineer Offices, up to Mr. Port's grocery establishment. A building formerly used as a Joiners' shop stands on the Land, which iB fenced in with a high fence. Third— The Laud and Premises in Willis-street, adjoining the above and nearly opposite to the Union Bank, recently occupied by H. M. Government, as Ordnance nnd Engineer Offices. The House, which is strongly built, contains six rooms on the ground floor; also, out houses built of bricks with slated roofs in the rear. The front of the Premises to Willis-street is enclosed with handsome iron railings. Fourth — The piece of Land and Offices thereon opposite to the Union Bank, at the corner of Wil-lis-street and Manners-street, recently occupied by H. M. Government as Commissariat Offices, and having a frontage to each street. The Offices contain three rooms, with a fire proof safe in one of the rooms. • This is without exception one of the most valuable properties in the city. ALSO, That valuable Town Acre, No. 145, in Ingestrestreet, opposite the residence of J. E. Nathan, Esq., fenced in with a close fence, and laid down nith English grasses. This laud will be sold in two or more lots. ALSO, Tbet valuable Town Acre No. 123 in Abel Smith Street, opposite to the residence of W. jHickaon, and fenced in with a good fence. This Land will be sold in two or more lots. ALSO, The following eligible Leasehold Property at Ngahauranga, viz. All those valuable Premises known as the " Ngahauranga Inn," now in the occupation of Mr. W. E. Wallace, situated at the junction of the Ngahauranga and Hutt Roads, being in a most eligible business situation, about two miles from the City of Wellington : together with 53 acres of Grazing Land adjoining, The Hntt vans to and from the City, pass the Inn twice a day. The Inn is a good, commodious, and substantial Wooden Building : consisting of a spacious bar and seven rooms. The Land is held on Lease for Twenty-one years, from the 25th April, 1853, at the moderate rental of thirty pounds per annum, with the power of renewal for twenty one years more. There is a Garden, a Publio Pound, a large Stock Yard, capable of holding 100 head of Cattle ; also two Stables, one of which has two Loose Boxes. The situation is well adapted for the shipment of oattle being sheltered from the prevailing winds in the harbour. Plans of the properties will be on tiew before the day of sale. TERMS AT SALE.
