RIFLE SHOOTING
E. SWINDELLS WINS WEEKLY COMPETITION POINTS’ TIIOPI-IY TO D. SEATH The Waihi Defence Rifle Club held its usual double shoot over the 500 yards range on Saturday, the winner being Rifleman E. Swindells, who has been shooting very consistently this season. The results are as follows: Riflemen E. Swindells, 97; D. Seath, 95; J. Wotherspoon, 93; J. Cornes, 90; Coleman, SS; Finnell, 82.
The points shoot for Mr Cooper’s trophy resulted in a win for D. Seath with 13 points other results being: E. Swindells, 9; J. Coleman, 7; J. Cornes, 1; J. Wotherspoon, 4.
