RESULTS OP CAPTAIN'S TROPHY COMPETITION

The competition played over two rounds by members of the Waihi Golf

Club for the club captain's trophy resulted as follows: W. Hollis and Miss

Mcintosh, 133 (winners); W. G. S. Smith and Mrs Smith, 129; W. E.

( Ludwig and Miss F. Clark, 129; F. C. . V. Clark and Mrs Clark, 12G. The special Stableford bogey match ' played in conjunction with the captain's trophy competition on Saturday resulted as follows:—Men: J. Spence, junr., 34; I. I. Grant, 33; W. Rapson, 32, W. Ludwig, 32, F. C. V. Clark,-32. Ladies: Mrs Smith, 35; Miss J. Cullen, 31; Mrs Stainton, 31; Mrs Greenwood, 30; Miss E. Morgan, 30. The draw for the Club Cup (stroke) and stroke round to be played on Saturday next is as follows:J. Spence, senr., v. F. C. V. Clark, W. H. Stainton v. W. Ludwig, W. Hollis v. W. Rapson, W. G. S.
