ANNUAL REUNION OF OLD PUPILS' ASSOCIATION A HAPPY GATHERING There was a happy little gathering in the Foresters' Hall on Tuesday last when the Waihi High School Old Pupils' Association held its annual reunion. The function, which this year was confined to financial members and their friends, took the form of a dance, followed by a daintilyserved supper prepared by the ladies of the executive committee, headed by Mrs A. Taylor and Miss Stamp, the tables being prettily decorated with autumn flowers.

Following the loyal toast, others honoured were "The Schools," proposed by the president, Mr C. S. O'Neill, and responded to by Mr C. 11. Schrafft, and "The Ladies," proposed by Mr A. R. Clark and responded lo by the secretary, Miss A. E. Presentt. The president, in announcing the annual geenral meeting, and outlining the proposed activities of the association for the forthcoming financial year, appealed to all old pupils of the school to rally to the colours and give the association their loyal support. Following supper, dancing was continued tor an hour, the music Cor the evening being supplied by Miss D. Skinner and Messrs Beilby and Tim anus.
