MISSING FROM HIS HOME
SEARCH FOR YOUNG WHATIPU RESIDENT FISHING-GEAR FOUND ON WHARF By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND. This Day. A search is being made for Mr Wallace Edward Farley, aged 23 years. a son of Mr W. D. Farley, of Whatipu. who has been missing from his home since Thursday evening. Mr Farley, junr., was last seen by tl.<? members of his family shortly before they retired on Thursday evening. About 5.45 -i.!!,. yesterday it was discovered that his bed had not been s'.v>pt in and a (••Cvirch was made o" the farm and the adjacent district. A tithing bag rind line belonging to 'lie missing man was found on the Whatipu wharf. The line had been set and pulled in, but the hooks and sinker had fouled the wharf steps.
