BREAKING AND ENTERING
TWO YOUTHFUL BURGLARS SENTENCED REFORMATIVE DETENTION By Telegraph—Press Association. HAMILTON,, this day. Arthur Richard Bailes (20) and George Edwards (19) pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday to charges of breaking and entering two Hamilton shops and one at Okaihua. Both were already serving three years’ reformative detention for breaking and entering at Christchurch. On the Okaihua charge the magistrate sentenced them to a year’s reformative detention and later in the Supreme Court Mr Justice Ostler sentenced them to two years’ reformative detention on the Hamilton charges, all three sentences to be concurrent.
