THE ALL BLACKS
AFBIG&M TEAEt MJR SECOND TEST A FORMIDABLE SIDE THE BACKS STRENGTHENED Australian and N.Z. Cable. VICTORIA FALLS, July 12. The Springbok team for the second test match with the New Zealanders at Johannesburg on Saturday next, July 21st, will be as follows:- — Full-back: Tindall. Three-quarters; Todd, Van Der Wosthuizen, Stanley Osier, Slater. Half-backs; Bennie Osier, Devine. Forwards; Mostert, Kruger, Van Druten, Danecl, Van Wyk, Pretorius, Ncl and Potgeiter. The side is stronger than the first test team, which defeated the All Blacks by 17 points to nil, the improvement being in the back division in which Devine, the crack Transvaal serin half, replaces de Villiers and Todd takes Prinsloo’s place in the three-quarter lino and Van Der Westhuizen plays centre three-quarter. These changes make the three-quar-ter line equally sound on attack and defence. The forwards are the same as in the first test.
