Temperature in shade, 24 hours previous 'to 0 a.m.: Maximum for .mon'tll on 11th, 81.3 deg. Fab.; minimum for month on 21th', 37.1 deg. Fah : mean for month on24'l>h, 63.3 deg. Fah.; minimum on grass on 24th, oo.Odeg. Fah. Wind : Maximum horizontal mileage on 20th, 157 miles. Rain: Maximum on Bth 1.71 inches; tqlal for month, 3.30 inches. Bright sunshine: Maximum on 4th, iOliours 51 minutes.; total for month, 174 hours' 52 minutes.
Remarks: The. mean temperature for the month was very s'lightly under the average. At 9 a.m. easterly w.iiuls blew on 12 days, westerly on .10 days, and calm was recorded on six days. The total wind recorded, was much below the average!. Rain fell on jvine days. Of tiie total 2.0-1 in'cbes fell on three days. I tlie 2nd, Bth, and 22nd.
