RETURN FOR 22 DAYS
For the period ending 20th March, representipg 22 crushing days, 13.742 tons were crushed by the Wailu Company for the result of 4278 ounces of gold and 23,754 ounces of silver. The following information has been cabled to London No. 9 Level Empire I ode, north section: The drive east from ifie lower north-west crosscut has been extended from 90 to 121 ft. The width of the lode is about hyo feet, and the value 21g 9d per ton.
No, 1 Level —Empire lode, north section : The drive west from the Soldiers’ crosscut has been extended Horn 58 to 76ft, the width of the lode being about five feet, and the value 21s 7d per ton.
