OARING ROBBERY

POST OFFICE ENTERED

FIVE HUNDRED POUNDS STOLEN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. A daring robbery took place at the Milton post office on Wednesday night , the sum of £SOO being removed from the safe. Mr McGuarie, the postmaste; states that he heard a noise in Jvs bedroom, where the keys o: the office were, some tune during the night, but as it was not repeated he concluded it arose from another part of the house. At seven o’clock, a boy from the office informed him that i,hc door of the sale was standing open, and investigations showed that the above sum, in notes, had been taken. ROBBERY AT DUNEDIN.
