'The Government Accident Insurance Depattmont has lodged oonlingont claims against the Auckland Harbour Board in connection with the accident to the men working on tho Mamnri in the Oalliopo Dook jwhen the vessol slipped. Tho claims are for £3OO each in oases of 29 injured, and £4OO each in the oaios of the three men killed, This, of coarse, is tho limit of the liability, and does not represent the amounts likoly to be paid; but tho olaim is lodgod to protect the Departing in the event of tho Board being held liable;
