Mrs Clark, of Paerata, Eas„sufficiently recovered from lier illness to allow her daughter. Miss Clark, tobacconist, of this town, to return, to business early this week. Mr P. W. Hart,'chief clerk of the Wanganui Court, leaves on holidays for Australia this week.. M r W. Harte, Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court at, Christchurch, will carry out Mr Hart’s duties during his .absence. At to-day’s meeting of the Wanganui River tfrust and Domain Board, Mr W. T. Downes was appointed supervisor of the Trust’s work and ranger for the Domain Board.
